What Do We Do?
One of the most exciting aspects of Earth Pearl Collective's mission is the creative collaborations. We take direction action of using art, theatre, dance, music, poetry, and whatever else is brought to the table to engage our communities and activate change.
Our most recent production was "Tail Feather," a boi-lesque ballet. In Chicago, IL we produced the classic work of Tennessee William's "A Streetcar Named Desire" to raise awareness of same sex domestic violence. In Seattle we have an annual queer black solo show festival called, "Sovereign." And we have collaborated with phenomenal artists like Danni Cassette, Boom Scat, Be Steadwell, Monica McIntyre, Nic Kay, and many more.
We are are always looking for new collaborations to push the edges of artistic excellence and expanding our scope of social justice. Contact us at earthpearlcolective.gmail.com
(Consciously Learning Intimacy Together)
What is C.L.I.T? Well, it is an acronym for Consciously Learning Intimacy Together. Many of our events are centered specifically around queer womyn of color, but this event is intentionally more inclusive. This event is for womyn, women, genderqueer, trans women, trans men, people with vaginas who want no labels, who, in some capacity are interested in learning more about themselves and their womyn identified partner or interest. Whew, that was a mouth full, but we want to make sure that we don’t leave anyone out, our community is vast!

The flagship health initiative, “Healing Revolution,” is a health pop-up series to connect marginalized communities with their local creative and alternative healing practitioners. This is the brainchild of Clinical Psychotherapist Dr. Katrina Sanford and Sadiqua Iman, artist, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and Massage Therapist.
“Healing Revolution” is their response to the lack of trauma informed, preventative, and affordable healthcare in underrepresented communities around Seattle, WA. Each pop-up will include movement classes, interactive workshops, live performances, panels, demonstrations, and free services like massage, acupuncture, and health screenings from local providers that offer free and sliding scale services in their practices. Combining health and wellness with arts and culture is Earth Pearl’s holistic approach to community building through community healing.
